Teddy was pretty darn sure that flying an actual ship wasn't in his future.

It rook him long enough to figure out how to do it with wings and that could only be more painful.

Aly found her way to the classroom just as the period ended and leaned against the doorway, waiting for Ghanina to become free enough to notice her.

Ghani had noticed the instant that the other woman had entered the room, acknowledging her with a slight nod.

As the last of the children left the classroom, she walked over to where Aly was lounging. "Somehow, I doubt you're one of my students."

Aly chuckled. "No, just another teacher. The school likes to assign a teacher who's been here for a while to help out new arrivals. I'm Aly."
