"It's okay," she assured her. "It could have been worse." No, not really. "I was due for it. I mean after a year and a half here, it was about time I grew fur."

Charlie facepalmed and muttered, "Still." Shaking her head, she said, "Johnny helped me the last couple weeks with the fire stuff, but I feel like I owe you something to cheer you up anyway. And there's stuff to catch up on!"

"Well you can make me feel better by torching the clothes I wore home from the Jerries. They were gold lame and polyester," Isabel said, making a face. "And I do want to catch up. Radio's just not the same as the real thing."

Charlie blushed a little, thinking of various Radio commentary, but recovered and said, "Lame'? I'd be happy to. Tomorrow I work, and, well, Sunday I'm going on those Three Minute Dates." She turned pinker. "But anytime else is good, really."

"Three minute dates?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Now that should definitely be interesting. Maybe Monday after classes? Then you can tell me about the dates."
