Cackling and More: An Introduction to Being a Mad Scientist [July 10th, period 3]

Jul 09, 2007 21:36

The students had been handwavily sent notes that the Mad Science class would be taking place in the Danger Shop beforehand. Once they arrived, they'd notice that the place had been set up to look like a dark and foreboding laboratory in the basement of a large building. There were desks, but they'd been pushed to the side of the smoke filled room, ( Read more... )

He's over at his desk, alternating between poking at the test tubes, and snickering at the class. He'll answer any questions you have.

Arashi had looked up when Professor Tomoe's class was to see if he could give his 'teaching buddy' any sort of a hand.

He was a little surprised to see the Danger Shop turned into a creepy forboring lab though. "Uhh... Professor Tomoe?"

Prof Tomoe looked up from his table full of bubbling test tubes to the guest at the door, his face and shoulder shadows still very much in place.

"Yes, that would be me."

"Uhh, hi. I'm Arashi Uzumaki. I've been assigned as your teaching mentor and help you out around Fandom," he explained with a smile and held out his hand.

Prof Tomoe let the shadows, and shook Arashi's hand.

"Ah, excellent! It's very nice to meet you." He paused. "I've only arrived today because the mun was busy, and I still need a place to stay. Preferably with space for a real lab somewhere."

And henchpeople, but he didn't want to ask too much too soon.

He would ask for help with the one thing that Arashi himself was having problems with. "Ahh.. well, I think there's a house coming up on the market soon. A friend of mine is moving out of his house and might be moving in with me, but I don't know the details of it."

This is where Arashi gets to be nice guy/pushover of the year. "If you really need a place to stay in the mean time I have extra rooms at my house."

And Prof Tomoe was very much willing to take advantage of Arashi's nice guy offer.

He moved to clap Arashi on the shoulder. "Thank you! I think I will take you up on the offer!"

The mun admired the picture of Gackt before replying.

Professor Tomoe noticed the forced grin. Professor Tomoe, however, was also evil, and kind of a jerk. The mun apologizes for that.

"Good, good, let him know," he said. "Where about in town is this place?"

Is glad that the picture was admired and notes that it's amazing that such a jerk has such a sweet daughter, even if he does kinda turn her evil too.

This was Arashi's oppurtunity to take everything that Wade had taught him and put it to good use! It would really kill two birds with one stone, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to do it before talking to Wade Or his mun about it, even if they would be okay with it in the long run.

Crap... he and Wade were on the rocks enough without this. "Ahh It's 29 Chimera Court. There might be a big crazy guy there in red spandex, but he shouldn't give you too much trouble."

Keyword on the shouldn't.

Souichi Tomoe loves his little girl so much that he was willing to sacrifice his sanity and free will in order to save her. He's not all bad, he just has a case of the evils at the moment.

Prof Tomoe jotted down the number on his notepad full of notes, as well as a reminder to look at a map after class.

"So long as he doesn't go around fighting evil by moonlight in a mini-skirt and sailor collar, I don't think there'll be that much of a problem," he said confidently.
