Approach the UnicornwhathasbeenlostJuly 9 2007, 09:05:25 UTC
The unicorn stands waiting, dark eyes curious but wary. If you would like to approach, you must be a virgin - if you have to ask, you're probably not. Men, be careful, but those of you who have been chaste may attempt to come close.

The unicorn's ears pricked forward as she came close, but he stood in place for Gwynn. "Because some feel that they would benefit more by trading in parts of us than leaving us whole," he said, his voice solemn and deep.

Naminé bobbed another quick curtsy before walking up to the unicorn. "I thank you," she said. "I shan't take too much of your time. Why is purity a prerequisite for your conversation, if it isn't rude to ask?"

The unicorn side-stepped, bringing himself a little closer to Naminé. "Take as much time as you need, as long as you scratch my shoulder while you stand there," he said, somewhat hopefully. "As for why, then know that I am the embodiment of purity, and the lack of it is unpleasant to my senses."

Naminé laughed. "My apologies, I hadn't wished to be forward. I would be delighted." She reached up and scratched along his shoulder, still smiling. "Why purity of body, then? Some are pure of mind, others pure of heart. Or does one somehow connote all three?"

The unicorn snorted slightly, leaning into her scratches. "Thank you," he said, sounding relieved. "The purity of the mind and heart are well and good, but purity of body is, as I said, unpleasant to me in the lack of it. It isn't personal."

Naminé rubbed along his muzzle, unable to keep from laughing lightly. "You really are delightful, you know," she said with a smile. "And I'm glad that I was able to meet with you. I wasn't entirely certain. Not that there's a question of my purity, I assure you. But I'm never quite sure if I'm real, or if that counts on a different sort of scale."

The unicorn held his head up and seemed very pleased to be cooed over, letting Jo approach with no problem whatsoever. No one would accuse a unicorn of not being somewhat vain.

She was still scritching along his shoulder as she reached her other hand up to hover near his muzzle, flushing a little. "May I?"
