See, Anders had been way too cheerfully dazed -- in that way that makes you agree to anything --this morning to fully realize what he'd gotten himself into.
Anders sighed and dug his Zippo out of his pocket. "This music makes me want to stab things, and I have a lighter. I can set things on fire. It's a start. Right?"

"I don't suppose I can just put on a jacket and be done with it, can I?" asked Anders. His voice was starting to take on a hint of "abandon hope, blah blah etc." He kind of hoped it added to the effect.
"Oh. There'll be something recognisable," Mac assured him. The amount of comfort those words will be to him when they're coupled with that grin? Debateable.
She cheerfully held up a pair of PVC pants. "I hope you like buckles."
