Students entering the Danger Shop will first encounter a long table covered with heavy white envelopes. Each envelope is stamped TOP SECRET and labeled with a student's name. Walter arrived, degu in hand, looked around before he approached the woman least likely to be a student.

"Miss... M? I'm here about Nadia."

Raising an eyebrow at both the "Miss" and the rodent, M nodded sharply at Walter.

"Has something happened to her?"

Walter held up the degu. "Yes. This is Nadia. No, I'm not joking."

Oh, for the days when M could have simply sent someone off for a psych evaluation, instead of actually having to consider the possibility that one of her students really was somehow now a rat-thing.

"Well...hand her to one of the techs and we'll get her outfitted."

After she completed the Final, Parker turned in her equipment, then went to talk to M. "Thanks again for teaching this course, M. If I don't see you at Graduation, I appreciate all the help you gave me as my mentor. And I'll see you England in October."

M nodded at Parker as she approached.

"It was an educational experience for me as well," she replied. "I intend to be at graduation, barring an emergency from home. But I do expect to hear from you once you've begun at university, regardless."

There was something sort of like a smile on her face as she spoke.

"Definitely. I'm really looking forward to England, and school there." She looked around. "As much as I'm going to miss this place." She smiled again. "I doubt the teachers at Oxford will be quite as qualified, but then, economics and languages don't require Classified clearance to teach, do they?"

"No, I don't imagine there'll be many with that sort of government clearance," M replied, her lips twitching a little. "But it's a strong school. They'll challenge you."

"Good," Parker said in satisfaction. "Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth it." She grinned at M. "Have a good summer, M. And thanks again."
