Region One: The Abandoned Rail Yard mi6_m April 25 2007, 02:44:13 UTC
This is your typical rail yard, complete with a repair shop, depot, and multi-car train. Completely abandoned...except for any of your fellow "agents" who might be hiding out there.

John carefully steps around the train cars, making sure to check all angles before proceeding. His sword is in his right hand in a defensive downward position, the laser pistol in his left, braced by his right as he crouch-walks along, waiting for anyone.

Annette spotted John and followed him easily, though she wasn't quiet, not wishing to sneak up on him. She was not defensive in her approach, rather she smiled slowly and whispered, "John," when she thought she was close enough for him to hear her.

He immediately pivots to the sound of the voice, pistol and sword at the ready. He drops 'em slightly. "Yo, Annette. What's shakin?"

Region Two: The Forest mi6_m April 25 2007, 02:44:30 UTC
This is old growth forest, with plenty of space for movement among the trees, some concealing underbrush for hiding, logging trails, and a shallow stream.

Once "Nadia" had been outfitted for the class (who knew they made degu sized laser tag equipment? . . . is that an iPod strapped to the degu's back?!), she ditched the gun and headed into the forest to gnaw on some sticks.

Marty stared at... the fuzzy thing.

With an iPod.

Luckily he had outfitted himself with a giant fishnet, which he then attempted to drop over "Nadia".

The degu tried to run from the thing coming at it from above. It just barely made it away in time, though. That iPod weighed a lot, for a degu.

Region Three: The Cliffs mi6_m April 25 2007, 02:44:44 UTC
Rocky outcroppings tower over a narrow beach. The cliffs are low enough to be climbed if you have that sort of skill, but high enough to be dangerous. And the water is too shallow for diving.

Yeah, the girl with the wings wasn't going to choose to perch herself up on one of those cliffs and keep an eye from above on the beach for her targets. Although she was really more the type to go out and find them, she'd try this for a bit. It worked well, too, if she should suspect someone targetting her was in the area. Much easier to dodge in the air, unfettered by anything else.

....It wasn't cheating. It was using your resources to their utmost advantage, thank you.

Mac was just moving along the rocks below, ducking down behind larger ones as she made her way along the shore. She was still looking for her first target, as her time in the woods had (to her mind) been unsuccessful.

In glancing up, she noticed Setsuna, who had probably already seen her considering her good vantage point. "Hey, Setsuna," she called carefully. With any luck she hadn't been loud enough to be heard by her potential shooters, if they were around. "Can you see anyone from up there?" After a beat she added, "Other than me."

Setsuna...could only stare down at Mac, really. It was one thing to expect to be at a significant advantage due to her ability to access these heights but...

...she didn't exactly expect one of her targets to just come waltzing up and addressing her.

It almost seemed too easy, but Setsuna had been in this business long enough that you never looked a gift horse in the mouth, although you did peer with suspicion.

"You're really the only one I need to see," Setsuna responded, lifting her gun and firing off a shot at her secondary target, and immediately taking to flight thereafter in case it was a sort of trap, and her firing would send others firing at her.

You can talk to "Nadia" all you want. She might try to gnaw on your clothes, though.

The degu gnawed on a pencil, and might have glanced over at Marty.
