Parker had the targets set up at 30'. She was also wondering if actually bringing in pies or baked goods would cause Willow to report them as shooting instead.

Nadia had a new gun and sleeve delivery system to play practice with, so once she got the delivery system set up right and the gun in place, she started practicing launching the gun into her hand and firing.
By the end of an hour she almost had it down smoothly and had not yet managed to blow her own hand off. Score!

"Ahh. Happy late birthday, by the way. Sorry I didn't even get you a card." Parker smiled at the shiny shiny gun, and said enviously, "I now have an urge to go order one from Tex. Is the aim good?"

"It isn't?" Parker frowned, trying to remember why that was, then nodded as she remembered about Nadia's Russian mom and not knowing her father. "Oh, right. With you growing up without knowing your real parents. They didn't leave any records, to let you know when it was, I take it."
