Dueling Club, Tuesday, Danger Shop, 5:00 PM
After closing up at Wonka's and dropping her new hat off in her room, she and the smew headed down to the Danger Shop for Dueling Club.
The shop was set up with a table with six chairs just inside the door. On the table was a dish of chocolates. Beyond the table the rest of the room was set up like a giant moonwalk chamber.
Luna waited until all the the dueling club members were present before speaking very much. This might have had something to do with the fact that a certain smew had taken up residence atop her head. Then again, perhaps it was simply good manners.
"Hello everyone." She began. "As not all of us are from the same place, I thought that perhaps we should spend the first part of our meeting getting to know one another and our magical backgrounds. For the second half, perhaps there can be practical, yet harmless, demonstrations of magic from each of us. I do not expect us to begin dueling this week. However, should someone volunteer, I would not object."
"Professor Orpheus? Do you have any thing that you would like to add?" Luna paused to ask.
She waited for him to finish any commentary before she continued. "My name is Luna. I was born a witch and until this past summer, I was a student at a school devoted to the education of witches and wizards. We utilize a large amount of wand specific spell work along side the educated use of potions, herbs, astronomy and other such studies where I am from.
"I believe that is enough speaking from me, for the moment. Would someone be so kind as to be the next to speak?"
