"You can provide moral and, should you so choose, financial responsibility to the mother of your child without marrying them," Zero pointed out. "My sister an' her Henry have two kids, an' they're not married." Zero squinted at the egg. "Maybe it's intersex."

"Choose to provide?" Seely cradled the egg. "Of course I'm gonna provide for them. What kind of a deadbeat do you take me for?" He blinked."Isn't it a bit young to be doing that?"
