Parents Weekend Meet and Greet - Dorm Lobby and Out Front, Friday Afternoon

The front of the dorms is set up with tables galore full of food, drinks and charming little decorations. Inside in the lobby is more room to mingle, a Mountie wanting you to show him what you've got and a registration desk with those little sticky badges that say "Hello! My name is..."

"Oh Gosh! We have to check these in?" Marcella asked as she pulled out a enormous purse and then emptying out a glock, a stilletto, a .38 special, brass knuckles, Mace, tampons...

"Yes ma'am," Fraser said. "No weapons of any kind permitted on campus."

At the sight of the tampons, Fraser frowned. "I believe you can keep those with you."

"Oh! HA HA HA HA HA HA! I guess not!" Marcella laughed nervously as she continued to pull various items from her purse.

Garotte wire, piano wire, flash grenade, lipstick...

"Oops! Not that one HA! Wait, I think I have one more thing."

She turns over her purse emptying out the entire contents onto the table. She quickly searches through it and pulls out a very small pocket knife. "There we go! Thank you sir! And may I say I think Canada is a fine fine country with many beautiful people!"

Fraser tried not to let his awe at the amount of weaponry the woman possessed show. It was impressive.

"These will be returned to you upon your departure," he said. "And I thank you kindly for your compliment. I do hope you enjoy seeing your relative."

Marcella scooped all the non-weaponry related items into her purse and smiled. "Thank you Mr. Mountie-person sir!"

She then leaned in and said: "Love the hat!" before wandering off to see if Marty was around yet.

Edmund frowned and rested his hand on his swordhilt. "Excuse me, good sir kinght, but is it really necessary to surrender my sword to you. I can give you my word that I would not draw it."

"Unfortunately, it is," Fraser said. "Weapons are prohibited on campus but, your sword will be accesible to you from the weapons locker. Your sword is also permitted in the salle."

"You appear an honourable man, at least," Edmund sighed, and handed his sword over.

"I thank you for the compliment," Fraser said and nodded. "I promise your sword will be protected and, should be in the allowed areas, you may come and retrieve it."
