Parents Weekend Meet and Greet - Dorm Lobby and Out Front, Friday Afternoon

The front of the dorms is set up with tables galore full of food, drinks and charming little decorations. Inside in the lobby is more room to mingle, a Mountie wanting you to show him what you've got and a registration desk with those little sticky badges that say "Hello! My name is..."

Marcella stumbled out of the rickshaw cab and then immediately apologized to the driver whom she has flattened as a result of stumbling before hobbling over to the table to put her nametag on.

"...a little nicer to your brother this weekend." Maria Broots said to her daughter as they arrived in front of the check in table. Cam just rolled her eyes and tapped her foot impatiently while Mr. Broots found their name tags.

Eyes still wide, Edmund looked around as he came to the check in table and found his name-badge.

King Edmund the Just, Duke of Lantern Waste, Count of the Western March, and Knight of the Noble Order of the Table.

This looked normal enough so far. Buffy headed to the table, grabbed a nametag, put it on, and felt like a dork. She also kind of wished she'd thought to write something cool and funny on it, like an icebreaker. But no, she was here as a parental figure and she should act like one.

That did not stop her from looking longingly at the nametags like she wanted take another one, though..

Giving Uncle Keith, Mick, Tom, Dick, Harry Mick a kiss on the cheek, Naomi grabbed up her carpet bag and hopped down out of the VW Bus.

Waving, the jauntily crossed over the causeway and proceeded to 'get lost' in Fandom for about an hour. There were just so many neat and wonderful things to see after all!

Eventually, she found her way up to the school, her bright smile dampening a bit as she saw the structured manner in which parents were to check in.

"Oh how absolutely silly, look at this labels." Naomi proceeded to give the poor office worker handing out the name tags a thorough explination of the soul sucking nature of labels then took a Sharpie out of her bag and quickly adjusted her own tag.

Beaming a beautific smile at the worker, Namoi patted it in to place. "There, much better."

With wide eyes, Sandry progressed up to the table to peer at the nametags. She looked up at Lark. "Do they think Briar won't recognise us?"

"You never know...it is Briar," her teacher answered.

The younger girl ended up wearing a nametag Sandrilene fa Toren

Ron was eyeing, well, just about everything. Sizing up teachers, staff, and most importantly students. His fingers itched towards his tickets. These maggots were going down. And Hang Ten would be the first to fall.

Missouri wasn't one for fancy titles, so she just wrote Missouri Mosley on her nametag, and left it at that.

Kira grabbed a nametag and wrote Kira Ford on it, and decided to not instantly associate herself with Conner, just in case he'd been really flaky and not made any friends here.

Which was a possibility. Especially, she thought, if anyone had seen him watch 'Abaranger'.

After a brisk walk up from the causeway the Captain found the registration desk and did what one does at registration desks.

His name and rank were already on his jacket, so he didn't bother with a name tag.

What a looooong flight. Tamaki wobbled over to the registration desk after much stumbling around. He was exhausted. Unfortunately not exhausted enough to not notice what was written on the name tag waiting for him.
