"Today I’d like to talk about the role of humility and arrogance, or pride in Othello’s ultimate downfall. How Othello’s insecurity and his use of pride to overcome that insecurity lead to his tragedy. I’d like to discuss this, keeping in mind how pride or humility can affect how we apply ourselves and our gifts to the world around us. Do you hold back your gift out of a sense of true humility or because you’re afraid you might not be good enough to apply it? "I try to do my best," Willow said, sounding tired and as though right now her best would not be very remarkable. "I try not to be all braggy about it, and I worry a lot that maybe I'm not good enough, but when I'm the only one who can do what I do I figure I at least have to try."
