Admiral Honor Harrington was seated on the corner of the desk at the front of the room, feet brushing the floor. Honor stood by the desk, pulling papers out from under an amused Nimitz as she tried to pack up her things.

"Ah, Mr. Bernadette. Welcome back." Honor smiled as she tossed a glance at Nimitz, putting her hands over his as he tried to start signing. "Did you have a nice summer?"

"Fandom strikes again," she replied with a chuckle. "What can I do for you today, Mr. Bernadette?"

"I was wondering if you needed a TA?" Pip asked. "I've had you before, twice actually, so I know how you teach, and I have a certain amount of practical experience in war and it's causes." He grinned a little sheepishly. "My grandfather usually uses the causes to gauge our price."

Honor paused, pursing her lips. "To be honest, Mr. Bernadette, I don't usually have need of a TA. I suppose one of the benefits of rank is that it includes a full staff. If the need does arise, however, I will keep you at the top of my list."

"Yes, Ms. Trebond?" Honor stuffed some of her papers into a briefcase. Beside her, Nimitz waved at Faithful with a mischievous, toothy grin.

"Um...I got turned into a statue halway through the first summer scession and was no longer able to attend class, ma'am."

"Ah, yes. I seem to remember hearing something about that. I hope you're feeling better?" A change from last term, Honor was learning to make lemonade from the massive quantities of lemons Fandom dished out.

"It's really okay, Ms. Trebond. Our final exercise never really came of much unfortunately. Conflicting schedules, and my abrupt departure for home." She gave a rueful smile. "I understand about the problems of everyday life a little too well. I'm just glad you were able to take the class."
