I'm sorry to have been so long in replying to this wonderful review. Thank you so much for leaving it here!
And thank you also for mentioning the theme of sacrifices during war, which was something that I spent a lot of time thinking about when I was writing and sketching this story. I wanted to take a look at the consequences that might arise from being in such an extreme situation for such a long time... And I'm glad it worked!
I toyed with many ideas as to the Prewett's final battle, but once I hit on Peter, I knew I had to see where that one went. It is so true that this way no one will never know what really happened with Fabian and Gideon, which makes me sad. (and I made it up! How perverse!)
Thank you also for your comments on the artwork. And especially for noticing my colour-schemes! I worked a lot with those, because they can add a lot to the atmosphere, so I'm particularly pleased you mentioned that! And those chickens! I couldn't help myself, and was rather worried they would look silly. But it seems they are quite popular.
I'm so happy to know this will sit on your computer, and that you want to come back to it. I enjoyed making it (despite all the complaining I did ;)) but it is an even greater pleasure to share it. :D
