I still can't believe how much work you put into this, even though I knew how much you were! I hope you're proud of this as it's wonderful.
I jotted down things that occurred to me as I was going through, so in no particular order we have: curly Remus in chunky jumper (you know I like that;)); the Death Eaters on page 2 are so sinister (the absence of any faces, just a dark pit, is shiver-inducing); the Burrow is superb (love all the details like the rope ladder hanging down, and the suggestion that as space/land is at a premium they've been forced to expand up and up and how haphazard it is); the heroism of Fabian and Gideon's deaths to match what Moody says about them in canon, and that you've captured guilt and fear and evil in Peter at the end.
I also loved page 11, where all the wands from the Death Eaters point towards and into the main frame of the page, really giving the sense they all hit him at once, and then you pan down to the bottom panel which is just the outstretched hand with the wand next to it. That was incredibly powerful. And all the colours you've chosen throughout compliment one another very well.
I am SO glad you stretched those artistic muscles, you've created something very different and memorable for this challenge. Wow, indeed. ♥
I don't know that I can believe how much work it was either. I'm not entirely sure what to do with myself now that it is done...
I love that you wrote a list! :D And curly young Remus is one of my favourite things too. I'm happy you thought the Death Eaters were menacing to look at, and that page 11 told the story in a powerful way. I felt like, if Fabian and Gideon really were the warriors Moody portrayed them as, treachery was probably involved in how they were cornered by the Death Eaters in the end. And so Peter was a handy tool, but he is also multilayered, and I'm glad you saw that part as well.
Thank you for taking a look and leaving your thoughts. It means a lot! ♥
