Hi all! Welcome to the FIFA World Cup Multifandom Challenge! Because our characters should run through the streets dressed in nothing but their flag too.
First order of business -- I need a co-mod. (Am American. Enough said. ^^; )
Now some rule-shaped things. I'll solidify them tonight, but I want to open things up so you can play right now.
On-topic: explaining football (soccer) to others, fanwork about characters watching, discussing, playing in, add your gerund here, football matches. Yes, this means the recent Arsenal v. Barcelona championship is open season. Past World Cups are also fine, especially if you know the stadium / neighborhood better. Please do think aloud about the logistics of the matches and the fic-writing.
Off-topic: Hooligans! LOL. A poster/puppet country-bashing; let your characters get riled up. Now here's a kicker: real-person fic is not allowed. The community is for putting football into your fandom, not the other way around. However, if your characters start speculating about players, that is fine.
Do descriptive subject titles, consolidate instead of spamming, LJ-cut, do your warnings, play nice.
