"He saw me hex Zacharias Smith," said Ginny."You remember that idiot from Hufflepuff who was in the D.A.? He kept on and on asking about what happened at the Ministry and in the end he annoyed me so much I hexed him -
~ Ginny Weasley, HBP p. 147

Poor Smith, annoying Ginny about a TRAUMATIC EVENT WHERE SHE AND FRIENDS COULD HAVE DIED and Ginny just gets all mad for some reason! What a bitch! It's not like she has a right to tell someone to fuck off but oh Snapeykins can go hexing people and verbally abusing his students and that doesn't bother you.
She should have been a nice girl and just put up with it, right? I bet you think you're a feminist too. God.

I  take it you like Ginny as a character? I neither like nor dislike her. I expected her to have a bigger role in the last book. Such a build up and then all she was good for was sex.

I lost my digital copies of the HP books when my external HD crashed,
but I'm fairly sure there is a quote about Ginny leaving Harry to go
hang with her own friends or something, so...

A Slytherin wizard died and was sent to Hell. As he was being led down the path, he noticed a Gryffindor he had known back in the land of the living. The Gryffindor had one of the most beautiful woman the man had ever seen draped all over him. The man began to complain to the devil about all the bad things he heard were going to happen to him, and questioned why the Gryffindor had such an attractive woman. To this the devil responded, "How dare you question the way things are here? How dare you question that woman's punishment."

RDR still seems to be a very 20thC publisher. It underuses its webpage and its blog. But Steve is definitely wired. Indeed, he's twittering. You can find Lexicon Steve on Twitter here. And he confirms the UK tour dates.
...So, it would seem The Magical Lexicon First Amendment Tour will not be televised, it will be twittered. And book signings really will be flashmobs. Who'd have guessed it?

This is why I think you (DavidEnglish) are better off to post repeatedly back to back with no response. You can't be trusted not to get nasty. You have no idea what Steve thinks or doesn't think and your speculation is rather absurd.

Well," said Harry, pausing to take a kick at a passing house elf, "JK Rowling has been asked for help by the Labour party. They want her to levitate its popularity in the opinion polls."

"Goodness!" said Hermione.

"There's nothing good about it," said Harry. "Apparently the deputy leader - a fierce-looking woman called Harriet Harman - yesterday asked JK to make a keynote speech at the Labour conference in the autumn."

"I thought JK had already done her bit," said Hermione. "Didn't she make a £1m donation last October because she's a friend of Sarah Brown?"

"Aren't you clever," said Harry, in an unpleasantly sarcastic tone that was rarely to be found in the books. "It's only a matter of time before we're roped into this."

"You mean, political product placement in the books and movies? Eek! With Hagrid coming out with turgid critiques of George Osborne's fiscal irresponsibility? Harry? Where are you going?"

"Bugger this. I'm going to feed myself to the basilisk in the basement..."
