School
Competitive Cooking did no such thing this week, instead watching an episode of Iron Chef. Piper was there to supervise with the help of her trusty TAs Hoshi and Angela.
Carpe Diem had a movie day about a smart ass kid's day off. Drake and a feline-ified Didi supervised.
Heroes vs Villains used the Danger Shop as it was intended, making the Mall of America to spend time in. Rosalind teased Jono about carrying a fish around, and Azula asked Jono about it too before they talked about music. Fish like music too. I'm sure it's related. Turns out the fish was a Home Ec assignment and Jono was protecting it while he did his TA duties. Loki had no such protecting on his schedule but he was there to supervised the mall-bound students.
Teevee for Beginners covered the history of the news, watched some broadcasts about the British royal family and pretended to be broadcasters reporting on their own lives. I pretend that about your lives every week. Don't take my word for anything you hear on this program, kids. Chloe was TAing, while Kate remarked on Mitchell's good mood.
Beaching It played beach golf and I'm very disappointed that I wasn't invited to join them hitting golf balls into the water. For those not golf-inclined, there was the usual lounging, as well as John and his TA Rose to watch over the proceedings.
No office hours today, so all that's left for school talk is Dan surfing the internet in the Library. Doesn't he ever do any work? Does Tumblering count as work?
Dorms: Since You're Back
The magical supportive types' meeting was canceled, but that didn't stop Francine from bringing cookies which James disapproved of since it attracts the wrong kind of people.
Raven went to meditate on the roof, but didn't get any peace with the visitors who stopped by. Kennedy came to check on her after something that happened outside the reach of the squirrels' notetaking and they wondered how Sookie and Bobby were doing. I'm obliged to mention that there was healing through girlkissy. The notes say it right here.
James apologized for interrupting and then asked Karla out for lunch but since Karla definitely has a boyfriend now Raven told him that was a bad idea. Maladicta met Raven for the first time and learned a little about her history and about how the island isn't quite right.
Momoko had a rough night and decided to move furniture around when she found an unusual invoice. Bod's unpacking was interrupted for happy reasons by Kate. Cassidy was interrupted by Alice. It doesn't say whether it's for happy reasons, but let's pretend it was.
Town
Drumroll please! It's time for another Business Roll Call! Ino emailed at Wellspring and got a visit and a one-sided conversation from Reno. Beka worked out at Atlas Gym, Dru cleaned at the Magic Box, and Lion-o did the same at Luke's, Shelley was late to work at Pixie Dust, Alexander wasn't doing much of anything at Things Reborn and Jane was making blueprints at Strokes of Genius.
Angua went for a walk in the park, not to be confused with Dinah who had a drink at the Perk. Tim saw her and stopped in to check on her for Karla.
MHA had a bug infestation, don't I know it, which Jaina protested when they started with Celine Dion. Wait, that's an actual person's singing? Dimitri didn't approve of the racket either.
Caritas's very own Hannibal and Tino talked about the invasion of the annoying bugs. Angela came to see Hannibal and Faith came to see the bottom of a bottle.
That's it. I'm putting my earplugs back in and going to find somewhere to sleep that doesn't involve that noise. Good thing I don't mind sharing a bed. Goodnight!"
