So just a warning and all, but you're so getting not a ton out of me tonight. I hope you're happy, you realize I'm getting on the red-eye home for Thanksgiving due to radio duties. The red-eye. Do you know why they call it that? Go on, I bet you can guess.
School, which totally should have let out early
Alternative Tactics talked about micro-tactics today, and I have no idea what that is except that it probably involves like, I don't know. Legos or something. They had a
lecture and people
paired up and there was
avoidance which seems like an entirely different topic.
Career Choices has a new teacher. Yadda yadda
class and then
Professor Aly and
River stopped by to say hello. And I'd like to welcome Miss Ghanima and tell her that it's 2007, and it's absolutely insane.
Feminism was canceled, which makes Professor Deadpool just so cool, and
Japanese was all about slang. No way, they teach classes on that?
Lunch was quiet, as was the
library, and over in the
office the staff thought they were robots. Welcome to the holiday season.
Moving on!
Dorms, where I assume people are still hanging around because their planet doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving
Dawn did some baking in the third floor common room, where she and
Sam talk about Thanksgiving and how she's not going home for it. Aww. I'd invite you with me, but it's probably a ploy to swindle me. She explained Thanksgiving to
Ron, and this particular squirrel seems to want to remind the little Brit boy that his guys started it. And
Rikku tried to push cranberry-pumpkin pie. You know, two great tastes, not so sure they should be ingested at once.
Cassandra spent the day alone in her room,
Demyx popped out of a portal muttering about rats, and I don't think I want to know.
Wyatt came back to a redecorated room, courtesy of Bridge and Anders. Oh, that's so nice. Though I do hope you hired a consultant first.
Aravis assured Karal that she's not pregnant anymore- yay?- and talks about his breakup with Molly, which was also the subject with
Inara, along with the weekend. And then
Aravis and Seely were cute and talked over the weekend, too. Are you all still a little fuzzy? Seriously. Is this normal?
Savannah copped out of her Thanksgiving plans to stay here and told Eve about it, and are you crazy? Turn down getting out to stay?
Summer and
Adam make much more sense and packed up to head out of town.
Victor was packing too, but got interrupted by a robotic raccoon. Have I mentioned how much I'm looking forward to going back to hanging around normal people?
Town, which I am fleeing soon!
Deadpool, Arashi and Aly had a cook-in turned food fight. Are you sure this note wasn't supposed to be in the cafeteria, or maybe the dorms?
Giles had a run-in with Faith, and
Ronan chilled out with tea at the Perk, where he met
Ino and flirted with
Peter Petrelli. I wonder about you people and your tea sometimes. I mean, are you using the right whitening toothpaste? It causes stains, you know.
Dale got visits from
Renee and
Faith, and
George Michael extended an invite to
Mary to have Thanksgiving with his family, while
Turtle got some flailing from
Jeff at Turtle and Canary about his family and the holidays. Those two scenarios really do like sort of a before and after, huh? And
Bridge got paint but it didn't really fit in there with the whole Thanksgiving thing.
Andrew opened the Magic Box,
AJ opened Luke's,
Gabriel opened the church, and breaking my string there,
Hoshi got a Thanksgiving invite from
Jack Burton.
Johnny Storm got
coffee and
hot chocolate at work, while
Beauty got a boy bearing a
milkshake. Can I get drinks when I work?
Adah was still in the clinic, getting visits from
Beauty and River, and then
Ronan got a visit from
Isabel.
Faith opened Caritas and did some flirting with
Renee and
Barney, and Faith, you realize when you did this sort of thing last week you got dragged off to the clinic the next day, right? And over at the Devil's Nest,
Kabuto was all OCD, which makes me think the boy needs more to do.
And on that note, I'm leaving here post-haste so I can get on the plane at roughly an okay time that doesn't leave me racing through an airport like I'm in some cheesy holiday movie. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
