Hello Fandom! This is Willow Rosenberg, reporting to you for WTFH radio where this week the W stands for Whee! Finals! I know we're all excited about putting all of our studying and hard work to good use. And by good use I mean getting a grade which validates everything we are as human beings. Assuming it's an A plus plus. Anything less means you've been invalidated and the only way to redeem yourself is by doing extra credit and/or locking yourself in your room and crying until you get totally dehydrated and your head hurts. Or, if you're me, you do both.

So good luck for finals! Now on to the news.

School! Which should totally continue through summer, I swear! It'd be the best thing ever! At least we could get graded on our workshops, darn it!

School was pretty quiet today. If you call being invaded by silk flowers who demanded notice and respect even though they are not flowers grown from dirt in the traditional sense to be quiet. Which it still was because silk flowers can't talk so mostly this was a lot of sign holding and then long written arguments about what the definition of life is. Silk flowers being very philosophical by nature, you see.

The conversation got sidetracked into a debate about Heidegger vs. Plato, and, well, let's just say things got pretty heated and I'm sure tomorrow morning everyone involved is going to regret some of the things that they said. But unfortunately once you've insulted the concept of Dasein that vulgarly it's hard to go back. Still, they tried their best and I guess that counts for something.

Today's detention involved blindfolding Seely and making him try to describe an elephant.

And Gun club hops, skips, and jumps. And Principal Washburn met with Aly and Zuko.

Dorms! Where we can study for as long as we want because nobody forces us to stop staring at the computer for all hours of the day and go outside and try breathing some fresh air once in a while, Will.

Turtle enjoys the fresh air by working outside on the lawn. She sings along to her radio which, if I'm reading my notes correctly, is called Squishy and shall be her Squishy. John Connor walks by and he and Turtle do that thing where you're passing by somebody and you like them well enough but at this particular time you don't feel up to talking so you just kinda nod and make silent eye contact but then keep going on your way before the threat of small talk takes over and your whole schedule is now ruined.

Up in the common room that's two floors lacking in cool, Tori watches Rachel Ray and then immediately takes a valium because if Ray Ray can't by God somebody should. Turtle drops by, possibly to see if she can learn to make money off of constantly speaking things in initials too.

In the hallways we find Crichton and Kawalsky running around and singing Christmas carols. Because ignoring Hanukkah only once a year was apparently not enough for some people.

Marie and Zuko catch up, and possibly other directions as well. Alec asks Dean what he should wear to the Teal Dear gig. I imagine that'd be an easy one for them to figure out since Dean could put stuff on first and Alec could use it to decide if it will look good on him. It's like a mirror, but with talking. Well, talking that doesn't freak you the heck out and resolve to never pay attention to urban legends about who can come out and grab you if you say their name over and over and yanno stuff like that loses all 'ha ha, just a joke' overtones when you've lived on a Hellmouth. Just as an FYI there.

John Connor and Sakurazaki talk. About what I admittedly do not know. Maybe flowers. Maybe wondering what the meaning of life is. Maybe whether or not they should get pizza or Indian for dinner. My money's on Indian, but for whatever reason they didn't ask me.

Chris picks up Luna for their date. Awwwww. And Rory leaves Caritas to go back to her room to get drunk which you'd think is the totally wrong order of events for that but apparently you'd be wrong.

Town! Where eventually we can gorge ourselves on new school supplies again. Eventually.

Moist opens the Post Office and tells Gladys they may be stuck there. I guess a whole bunch of catalogues got delivered and are going to take a long time to sort. Jude opens Luke's Diner and then immediately imitates a narcoleptic goat. Except for the horns and the hooves and the beard. So far as I know.

Al opens Book Haven. John Connor comes in to check on books and Setsuna. I wonder what section of the bookstore she's filed under. Maybe action? Arashi also stops by and I swear to you seeing people appreciate books this much brings a tear to my eye. Literally. I'm not even pretending it's just some dust or allergies.

Isabel and Jack take in the beach during a time of year when it's not totally insane to do so. Sparky Repairs is open but from the outside as the twins enjoy the lovely weather. Chris and Luna are indoors for their dinner at Ching Tai but they make up for that later with a walk through the park.

Also outside are Mr. and Mrs. You Know The Dreidel Song Is Not That Hard to Learn, People.

Nadia and Rosette spend some time at Our Lady of Fandom. Leo throws a party. Not, I assume, at Our Lady of Fandom. Not-my-dog-Stanley is chilling and grilling and ... um... I have no rhymes that would work with the concept of talking but he does that too, with Mr. Lyman. Spilling? Of... information maybe? Yeah I should've thought that one out before I started it.

The clinic is quiet both day and night and if Dr. Wilson is listening I'm now pretty sure the answer to my question the other day is 'No.' Not that I'm sure how I feel about that answer but - Uh! Anyway!

Our Dance Floor is Very Zen In Nature is opened by Ellen, with humming zombies. I have no idea how the hum of zombies unlocks doors, but if there was a place that'd have that kind of security system it'd definitely be that one. Rory comes by and thinks she's Julius Caesar but Ellen totally doesn't buy it when she can easily point out that Rory's got the hair all wrong, Also that Rory does not enter or leave buildings through the window. Rosette comes in with Father Remington and shares an Appletini with him and possibly Bishop Smith & Wesson.

Setsuna is very sad over at The Devil's Nest and her boss asks about it because unhappy employees are not as good at their jobs as ones who have a song in their heart. Along with, you know, the blood and other stuff. Songs only tend not to work either. Unless you were dead to begin with in which case your employee morale is kind of the least of your worries.

Teal Dear has its last concert for, well, ever. Zero waits out in the parking lot with Dave. You do not want to know how many times I had to read through my notes before I was able to stop asking myself who Dave was. Suffice it to say it's not pretty. Though it would've saved me a lot of time if I skipped right to the note about how Parker and Zero wonder what's going to happen to Dave, who is a van, after today's gig. It's possible Dave had suggestions, but if so Parker and Zero would've had to respond with an apology and a short comment about how said suggestion was not going to happen.

Chad and Teddy show up and talk with Parker and Zero about the trip. This is when you should call shotgun. The rules of shotgun are very clear about that. Alec and Dean come by and Dean makes sure it's okay for him to ride in the van. Which is very polite and all but if the answer was no they could've totally pretended that only Alec was there and everybody else was seeing double thanks to a Fandom thing.

Bel shimmers for a PDA with Anders and I have no idea why Parker is so uncomfortable about personal digital assistants because they can be very helpful for keeping track of information and appointments.

Hannelore sees Dave and has second thoughts about the drumming career. The squirrels suggest that maybe she should call her therapist about it.

After that everybody piles in and heads over to Arlington where GenCon is in full swing, Galaxy Quest and BitterWoman fans, much like fine ham, totally abound, and Teal Dear rocks the house like rocking things that can influence personal dwellings in some fashion.

And that's all the news I've got for tonight. Have a good weekend, Fandom! Night!
