Good morning, Fandom, Cecil here. It's the last week of classes before exams? Really? Well, since I won't be broadcasting again until most of them are over, let me just say that I hope everyone survives and the bloody injuries are kept to a minimum - good luck, everybody!

Though honestly, we haven't lost anyone to finals since I came here. It's...a little creepy, actually. And also, I mean - why else would they call them "finals"? It doesn't make any sense!

All right, well anyway.

In school yesterday, Self Defense got to practice all the stuff they've learned, History of Poisons talked about mushrooms and toadstools and which ones give you the fun glimpses into the world as it actually is, and Art of BS got to practice by trying to convince the teacher why they don't need an exam. Finally, something useful!

Also, in the library Cosette was all thoughtful, but then Edward brought her fruit, and she talked to him about how she's been thinking about her mom. Moms are great, aren't they?

In the dorms on the deck, Celia was reading a book and seemed a bit antsy, and Hanna stopped by.

Over in the teachers' offices, Bob was working on some runes and Parker was playing The Floor Is Lava with herself, and the squirrels say they were both pretty wistful. Which hopefully didn't impact the whole lava thing, because you really don't want to be distracted for that!

And in town, Dr. Lecter - whose food is to die for - had a shiny new plaque to hang up for his practice. So...I hope he gets good at hanging up...OH! Never mind. The other type of practice. Anyway, Jono dropped in looking for company, and we're not supposed to tease them anymore even though I so called it, right? And he got to see the new sign, too.

Not a metaphor. I think.

Meanwhile, over at the trooper station, Jessica had to field a lot of really weird calls about Cheap Trick and stuff, and at Caritas Cara had another half-price drink special. Better take advantage while you can, everybody! And until next week, I leave you with the weather!
