Fandom Radio, Tuesday, October 18th
Hey, guys! Miley Ray here, welcoming y'all back from your fabulous fall break! And if your break wasn't fabulous, um, my condolences. Welcome back to school!
Let's jump into the WTFH Fandom Radio news, 'kay? And heeere we go!
So in classes, we have the usual collection of Monday stuff!
In Basic Strategy, Mr. Lannister had everyone show off what they learned about their partners. Everyone listened and found their partners and then showed off what they learned! Oh, and some of them wrote it down. They were also able to talk to the TA, Kate, or to Mr. Lannister.
Aesthetics of Word I Can't Say was taught by, um… does that say pirate? Uh, 'kay. Then they listened to the lecture, and then, um, it just says ninjas. I guess they had to fight them? Which would be… weird. And probably painful. Sorry, guys. If that, um. Happened. And Mr. Bond and the TA were around to talk to, too.
Then Cultural Understanding chilled in the forest and talked about houses. Oooh, 'cause y'all were out building houses in Canada, right? I get it. Then they could explore the teacher's hut and talk about their own houses, and they could talk to the teachers if they wanted to, too.
And then there was Creative Arts! We all listened and then we got to glue collages! And we could also talk to Cute Tony the TA or Mr. Rogers.
In the library, William read magazines and drank tea.
Sounds super exciting. No offense, William.
And then we have the super secret boys' frat! They all arrived to play video games. Weird Topher was grouchy 'cause apparently he was there first, but then Cute Tony came by and they talked about plans for the week and it says that made Weird Topher a lot happier. So. Not sure what that's about. And Jack had a dog with him, and he warned Ben that the dog would probably try to steal food. Don't a lot of dogs do that? Oh, and then people could talk to Cute Tony and Rock Band Warren and Mr. Lannister.
And in the office, the people who worked there were, um, tired, I guess? There's a picture. One of them looks sick.
Okay! Moving on! Dorms!
Caroline had just gotten back from break, so she flopped on her bed with her new stuff and was wearing the total cutest shoes ever. Her awesome BF Jake came by and they snuggled - aww, that's cute! - and talked about Care's mom. Who apparently likes country music, FYI. And then I stopped by to give her this super warm cashmere YSL scarf, and we talked about… stuff. Just stuff, okay?
Then in his room, Cute Luke was eating candy and talking to Kate on the phone. I think they mean the Kate with the brother who's a chef. That's what the picture looks like, anyway.
And up in his room, Alex was watching a bird for his roommate, who I guess went somewhere. And there was birdseed. Your roommate doesn't sound very responsible, Alex.
In the first floor lobby, Annie was selling tickets for the Homecoming dance. BTW, I am so excited for that, like, you guys have no idea. I already have, like, three dresses I can choose from. Juliet and Care, you guys totally have to pick for me, because they are all super cute, and -

Oh, right. So Luke who was talking to Chef Brother Kate stopped by and he bought tickets and told Annie he might show up. OMG, are you kidding? You totally have to go! Oh, and then he showed her some Greek money. Which is cool. Then Immature Jack who now has a dog came by and asked Annie how she felt about dogs. She said he's cute. Yay.
And then in the first floor rec room, Weird Topher was playing video games when Super Smart Ender came by and apparently kicked his - hey!
*chittering*
Are you guys trying to trick me? That's so mean!
Anyway, Ender won. And then they talked about, um, Ender's, um, I guess, the guy who he's, um, who's his… boyfriend?
…Town!
At Stark Industries, Ben brought lunch for Ender. Oh! That's, um, the guy. And then they talked! You know! Using words! Maybe hand gestures!
*fast flipping of pages*
Oh, you guys have glitter! Cool! Um, there's no need to get the glitter all over -- aaaaand it's too late. Okay!
Immature Jack was at the park and he saw a dog he knew from home and decided to keep him. Aww! Cute! At The Gig, Angelica took the horses out, which I am sure made BlueJeans super mega happy, so yay that! In front of, um, that store where Karla works, there was a huge metal -
*HUGE GASP*

There was - what - but -
There was a big statue! And it was big! And, um, Karla signed for it! And then Ben went to say hi to Karla, I guess, and he told her about that thing and she was like "YAY" and that's the end of that! Ronan came in to compliment the statue and ask for shopping advice, which Karla gave him. Helpfully, probably. And someone named Jon who I don't know came in and Karla didn't recognize him at first but then she did. Huh. I guess he's from her home, or something.
At the clinic, Ronan was at the desk, working on a paper. I don't know why he wasn't doing clinic things. Don't ask me.
Then at the Fish 'n Bait - ooh! That's a real place? OMG, that sounds awesome, I am totally stopping by for some catfish sometime soon - Jon from Karla's store came in and put up a sign about hiring people.
At the Devil's Nest which I still haven't figured out what they do there, there were specials for people and Eric was texting.
And finally at Caritas, Mr. Doyle was talking to Tino the bartender about… I can't read that word. No, really, I can't. You guys have to work on your penmanship.
