Ok, guys, here's the thing:
I'm almost done GIR and am searching for a fandom related project to do. While I've never even sen Dr Who, I love love love his scarf.
I was thinking of doing his scarf from season 16, the really ridiculously long one that touches the floor with a waist length loop. Now, I'm about the same height as Tom Baker, but still. Is this too long? Will it look ridiculous?
Also, how boring is this scarf to make, truthfully? Is it really worth 20 feet of straight garter stitch? It's a gorgeous scarf, but I don't know if I'm up to that.
EDIT: Also my shoulders are very thin, not broad like a man's. Will the scarf want to stay looped in awide loop like that? I imagine it will just slip off my shoulders.
