"Another Doctor?" She tried to wrap her brain around the idea of two Doctors in the same place, failed and moved on to the important part. "It's not stupid," she said quietly, putting a gentle hand on Rose's back. "Not stupid to be hurt by that." She glanced over at Martha briefly before turning back to Rose, who had tears glimmering in her eyes. "Stop and breathe for a second. It's easier to make sense when you can talk."
Without thinking about it, she started gently rubbing Rose's back in small circles as her own mother once did when she was upset. "Take your time."

She thought about it for a moment. "If-if it's another guy, that's one thing, but didn't you say another version of him showed up? So wouldn't he be getting territorial with himself? That doesn't excuse him from being stupid, but maybe - maybe it might bring up a special brand of stupid. Does that make any sense?"
Claire blinked. "Another - version of him?"
"Come to think of it, the whole thing doesn't really make a lot of sense," Tara admitted.

River nodded. "Women's circle. Very important in certain primative cultures. Ours should be a matriarchal society."
"Okay, now the fun part. How to make the Doctor pay for beinga jackass." Molly sipped at her cup and felt the heated water and the cool of the mint coat her tongue.
