The Commander chuckled softly, wryly, as she nodded. "Yes... though, this one was a biggie. I'm never above having people help, but that particular one, we were alone." Still, it was good having someone around that understood and pretty much shared the experience. Marcus did, of course, but in this case, he was taken as a 'given'. As was Stephen. "Well, I'm glad it does to someone. And, yeah... I'm glad I'm here rather than 'out there'." Nothing to go back to 'out there'. Not now.

"We met," Ivanova turned to smile at the anthropologist. He'd been identified as 'the boss man' before, but the seconding from the Commander is even better. "Dr. Daniel Jackson... you may want to know what I can do, perhaps?" She's all for knowing abilities; use each to the best of ability, right?

"I'm not a desk officer. I had a staff of two thousand people under me on the station. Mission, materiel-- Here, I'm good with fishing and running security." She liked to know what was going on... "Beyond that, whatever is needed." She paused, "Except cook. Never figured that one out."

Susan looked at Lindsey as he asked about shelter, and pointed. "That too..." She offered the man a smile, "Any good at building one? I know I'm not." Space doesn't offer one many shelter building opportunities. "Game to try, though."
