When: Day 37, late afternoon, during the rains
Where: Camp Crash II, cooking fire area
Invited: Sam Tyler, anyone
Status: COMPLETE

The sky was darkened, and the rain was beginning to come down a little harder, a little more in earnest as Susan made her way towards the cooking pit. As a result, her head was canted down, simply to be sure she didn't trip on anything in her path, and to keep the water from pelting her face. Was there any dumber place to be than outside in a rainstorm? Second day here, second day of rain, and already she was 'over it'. Granted, a lot of her mood could be attributed to the mystery before her, and part of it was, honestly, a touch of lonliness. Not that she'd admit it.

On the station, she was 'home'; lots of things to do, places to go. Reports to write... Earhart's to visit for a splash of vodka before going to work out. Here? Not so much.

There was a hustle of activity by the cooking fire; the intrepid hunters had returned with their prize(s)?, leaving it to the camp crew to finish the work that the 'field dressers' had begun. The fire pit (imu) had to be dug, and off to one side, the commercial telepath, Remy, had actually begun to work on that, in the rain. Stones were placed on the side, to be used as heating elements for the slow cook. If they were back, Sam had to be around somewhere, and Susan scanned the immediate environs for the displaced detective.

"Sam?"
