Another one of those spoilery little things which aren't quite drabbles, exactly ....
The Weasley cousins, including the "Potter Weasleys," all got together pretty much every weekend, give or take a few, and Teddy Lupin was usually there too, since he was an "honorary cousin." He usually turned his hair red when they were all together, so that he would look like just another Weasley cousin. The parents had time to spend together, sometimes reminiscing with each other but more often carefully avoiding certain subjects and talking instead about the latest progressive changes in the Ministry of Magic, and the cousins had time to compare notes on all the exciting stories they had heard, or more often, overheard.
Their grandmother Molly always acted bored when somebody mentioned that she was the one who killed Bellatrix Lestrange, like it didn't really matter. The cousins always got a kick out of teasing their grandmother about being a hero. She pretended not to like that, and scolded them about making her sound like something special, but they could tell she didn't really mind.
Many of the stories were told openly, and with pride. The cousins all knew the names of those who had fallen in the final battle, and how they died. Teddy made sure that everyone knew how bravely his parents fought, until the cousins were bored of hearing it over and over. Uncle Percy was fond of repeating Uncle Fred's last words.
There was always one subject they didn't talk about, though, and the cousins had learned not to ask, since each one of them had felt a stony silence fall when they first asked: "Whatever happened to Uncle George?"
