Thank you for letting us know - the cross-posting will be great too, as I for one tend to hang out on LJ and forget/don't have time to read over on DW - I suspect I'll have to move over there full time one day soon, but not yet! But it'll be great to know you're safely over there, should The End happen here.

Likewise, I'm continuing to hang out here while LJ is still functioning, so the cross-posting is appreciated. I just took a look on DW and the comm there seems to be closed to new members at the moment.

The community is purposefully closed to new members. The only members are the current grammarians so they can make posts to the community. Readers are invited to subscribe ("friend," is the LJ terminology) so new posts will appear on their reading list. (You can also track the community to have new posts emailed to you, which might be appealing if you're still using LJ after we fully transition.)

Thanks. I don't use DW other than for backup at the moment, so didn't understand the nature of the community.

Is there any reason for not continuing to cross-post to LJ? Like the other commenter here, I don't really have the time to interact on two sites.

Joined! Although I prefer LJ, I like options if LJ goes down.
