Hahaha thanks for this post, it's interesting.
That's annoying about a lot. Because to alot is already its own verb, and although you can differentiate the usage based on context, I still get persnickity about these things :p

Yeah, ever since this was released into the world, I've decided there is no excuse for this particular grammar mistake.
