House was whistling a happy tune as he took Cash into the clinic. The dog stained and pulled on his leash, wanting to investegate the new sights and smells. *DEATH rides into the Clinic on Binky's back, having just arrived back on campus. He appears to be wearing a fedora out of purple leather.*

HELLO DOCTOR. IT IS GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN. I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I AM BACK IN THIS REALITY FOR NEXT TERM AND WILL BE RESUMING MY POST AT THE CLINIC. ASSUMING YOU HAVE NOT FOUND A REPLACEMENT TO TREAT THE MORTALLY WOUNDED, OF COURSE.

Cash pushed out of House's lap a moment before House realised DEATH was there. Keeping a tight hold on the leash, House grinned at his assistant.

"DEATH!" He greeted warmly. "It's good to see you." He might seem just a little more bright than DEATH might have ever seen.

DEATH, if he had eyebrows, might just have raised one. However, lacking said anatomy, his face remains impassive, as one would expect.

"This, my friend, is Cash." House beams. He watches how Cash paws at DEATH's hand, missing it by a good inch or more. House laughs and leans down to scoop Cash up in ihs arms.

"You are welcome to start back any time you'd like. It's been dreadfully slow over the holidays. I've mostly kept the oncall light on." Mostly. Right. pretty much solid for two weeks. But that hardly mattered now. he was back on site and ready to work.

"Excellent." House smiles. He wonders if DEATH can tell something's changed. Well, the news will spread around campus soon enough. f it hasn't already.

"Dr Wilson will be helping out a few days a week, he's relocated to the new clinic in town." May as well put it out there.

[OOC: Ohhh, happy birthday! No worries. Hosue is just kind of relaxing and breaking Cash in before the new term starts. it's all good]
