"I can give you something to help you sleep," Christian said, beckoning for Savannah to take a seat in front of the desk. "But if something is causing nightmares, you're probably better off talking to a shrink about that."
Savannah looked him over and then sat down. She didn't like clinics, in fact was terrified of any kind of medical place, but her nightmares were worrying Johnny.
"I used to sleep without nightmares, so I don't think there's anything causing them."
"Nightmares are usually caused for some sort of psychological reasons," Christian said, leaning forward. "Something your subconscious is bringing out. I can refer you to the staff psychiatrist and you can talk to him. Or I could just give you some prozac and see if that helps."
Christian raised an eyebrow at her reaction. "Okay then, no shrink. I feel the same way about them. Prozac is an antidepressant. Actually, Zoloft might be a better choice as it helps with anxiety as well."
Christian scratched his head. "A shrink might have a better idea, but we've already ruled that out," he said. "So I don't know. Maybe you could try some of that new age crap to get your head screwed on straight."
"Hello?"

"Do you give advice on how to deal with health stuff or just medications? Because, I don't know if I need medication, but I sure could use some help."

Psychiatrist? Oh hell no!
In fact, when he mentioned that option, Savannah turned kind of pale.
