Ronan ushered Billy into the exam room, and directed him to the bed. "Let me take a look at your back," he said, carefully lifting up the other boy's shirt.

"Yeah," Ronan said, running through a diagnosing wizardry in his head. It was sluggish, but wasn't as bad as it had been earlier -- he hoped it stayed that way. "Managed to get away, though." He paused. "Do you have any objections to magic use?" he asked.

"Ronan." He frowned as the diagnostics began to filter through the Knowledge. "You've lost a lot of blood," Ronan said. "And these are too severe for me to just heal right now. I'm going to..." He pulled a small knife from his pocket. "Most healing wizardries require blood, freely given," he continued. "So I'm just going to use a bit of mine to speed up the healing on these cuts." And hopefully jumpstart your body on replenishing your own, he thought.

"I have, yeah." And, okay, maybe he hadn't ever used this much, had to make so large a cut, but Ronan could tell that a pinprick wouldn't be enough today, not for anything. He made a small slice across the fleshy part of his palm, and held his hand over Billy's back.
The words flowed easily, this time, for which Ronan was grateful; the power, unfortunately, was much slower to respond, and Ronan had to restart the spell twice before he felt it 'catch'. When he was finished, though, the cut on his own palm had healed to the thin line of an 'old' scar.
Taking a moment catch his breath, Ronan returned his attention to the diagnostic spell. "How does that feel?" he asked. The slashes certainly weren't healed, but the bleeding was stopped, and the diagnostics indicated that Billy's blood was being restored at a slightly elevated rate. He'd ask Dr. Wilson to take a second look at them when he got a chance, though.

"Warmer." Billy answered, and realized he hadn't noticed he'd felt cold until just then. "That's a good sign right? Hey if there's gonna be a lot of injuries you might want to to easy on the blood letting. You only have so much."

Ronan nodded. "Yeah, warmer is definitely good." He paused. "And thanks, that's good advice." He'd follow it only as much as the incoming injuries allowed him to. It's not like it required much, anyway.
He walked over and pulled some bandages down from a shelf. "I'm going to bandage those, as well," he said, checking the Knowledge, thankful that, yes, it had information on more mundane medicine, as well, at least the basic first aid.

Ronan swiftly bandaged up the wounds, thankful for the instant 'expertise' granted by the Knowledge. It wasn't a perfect job, but it was hardly an amateurish blunder, either. "That should do you," he said. "Is there anything else you need?" Ronan indicated that Billy should get up onto the bed. "You should probably rest on your front for now."

Ronan nodded, exiting and returning swiftly with a glass and a pitcher of ice water. "Here," he said, pouring a glassful; there was a straw in the glass, as well, for ease of drinking while flat on one's back. He handed the glass to Billy.
