The island was once again full of children, so Stark had once again made sure to have a supply of candy on hand for sharing. He also had a squirt gun on the desk he'd brought with him from the park. This way, he figured, he was prepared for both friendly and unfriendly children.

[Up a wee bit early as I have to go out for a couple hours soon.

Summer wasn't hurt, but it was the clinic. And clinics usually had lollipops. So she was there in search of one.

Ooh, a weetiny. And one that didn't appear to be bleeding, which Stark always thought was a plus.

"Do you need help?"

[snarkyprincess]

"Yes," Summer said seriously. "I need a lollipop. Got any of those?"

She might have been bouncing eagerly. Or maybe she had already consumed too much sugar already.

"Just a lollipop?" Stark asked. "You're not hurt? We should have lollipops. I think." He rummaged through the desk drawers for a moment before producing a purple one. "Like this?"

"I'm not hurt," Summer confirmed. She made a disgusted face. "Grape, ew."

"They're all purple," Stark said, holding up another to prove it. "Is grape bad?" He liked grape. But then he just liked sugar.

"Grape is icky," Summer replied. "I want orange."

[banikslaveboy]

"I don't have orange," Stark said. "Only grape. Sorry." He was, really.

"But I want orange!" Summer exclaimed angrily, stomping her foot. She was used to getting her way after all.

"I don't have any orange," Stark said again. "Maybe I have something else?"

"Cherry?" Summer asked hopefully.

Stark had really thought there were more lollipops, and all he'd brought was chocolate. Because he always brought chocolate.

After searching a few more places he shook his head. "I don't see any cherry either."

"This is a dumb clinic!" Summer said, folding her arms indignantly

"It's a very good clinic," Stark countered. "It just doesn't have good lollipops tonight."

"What kind of clinic doesn't have good lollipops?!" Summer asked, starting to get her wee rage on. She took her rage issues out on Stark by kicking him.

Stark started to answer Summer, but was distracted by the being kicked.

"Ow!" Those tiny feet hurt. "You kicked me! Why did you kick me?" He picked up his squirt gun, just in case the wee one decided to kick again.
