Rory was awake and fairly restless. She'd retrieved the book that Artoo had brought her as well as her iPod, and was doing her best not to poke at her IV too much.

Anakin came into the room holding two cups of coffee.

He deliberately kept the bigger one for himself, handing her the second one with a slight smirk.

"How are you feeling today?"

Maybe she didn't remember much of last night.

"Undercaffeinated," she replied, gratefully taking the coffee. "And better, thank you."

Anakin raised an eyebrow. "I've tried to argue when you've really wanted something. I know exactly how futile it is." He smiled. "But maybe you just want a reason to skip classes. Slacker."

"I've heard that about people who get into multiple prestigious colleges," Anakin said with a nod. "They're notorious for partying, dropping out of school and petty theft, too."

He craned his neck to read the title and blinked. "Interesting choice..."
