Wilson motioned Marty towards the exam table, he'd picked up the man's file and had it flipped open to put in additional notes. For the moment, he grabbed up a stethescope and moved towards the man.
"Can you take off your shirt please? Easier to check on the ribs."

Nodding, Wilson ran through the ususals, heart rate, blood pressure...all the goodies before setting the stethescope against Marty's chest and back, asking him to breath each time.
He did a visual scan of the bruising, moving to a gentle physical examination of the indicated rib area.
"Any particularly tender areas where I'm pressing?"

"They're going to hurt like a bugger for awhile and as much rest as you can get in will be about the only thing that will help speed along the process of healing."
Finishing off the strapping, he stepped back and looked towards the knee.
"Okay...define 'bunged up' in regards to your knee?"
