Natalie brought in her stainless steel cup again, and would work her way through the contents during the shift. It was wonderful to have coffee back in her diet -- even in such small amounts. Wrapping her stethoscope around her neck, she settled in at the front desk for a few minutes before heading into the lab.

Natalie rounded the corner, peeling off gloves as she came. They were deposited in a biowaste bin, and she reached for another pair off the counter. She heard the urgency in Jarod's voice.

Becky eyed GOB in a way that a very silly person might have termed as worried.

"Stabbed," she said to the woman emerging, her voice slipping into a quick drawl. "Through the back, by a katana used by an expert - though she might have gotten creative. Knowin' her, she skipped the vitals, so really, we're just lookin' at blood loss."

Not her first time explaining Miho's procedure to a doctor.

Moving toward the patient, Nat did a quick visual survey. She heard his heartbeat, weak, but steady. "Let's move him into exam four."

Jarod nodded as he carried GOB into the exam room, motioning for Goldie to follow him. "We've been applying direct pressure, but I haven't had a chance to see how bad it is."

Weevil rushed into the clinic carrying Allie who was still unconscious.

"I need some help here!" he shouted.

Natalie emerged from exam four, where she was checking on Jeff, having finally learned his name, and gathering the rest of the info she hadn't had time to collect earlier. The smell of burned flesh assaulted her senses, and her breath caught in her throat. Her face fell as she looked to the unconscious form in his arms. Oh, no...

She opened the door to exam three. "In here. Now."
