That damned saying
We've all heard that saying "You just know," or some variant of it. But honestly, I don't think I've ever REALLY known.
I'm not talking about just relationships, "I KNOW when I'm in love," kind of thing.. but lots of things. I don't really think I've ever known when I've completely finished (I mean beyond just being memorized or practiced.. I mean when the piece is so completely inside of me that I could literally probably mark down the entire thing) a piano or violin piece. I don't think I've ever really known when to do this or that or some other thing. I've just never known.
Ultimately I think it's some lack of confidence in myself. I never have that 100% certainity that I aced that test, or baking these brownies is going to pan out. I refuse to let myself think that I am completely correct and beyond fault.
