Waiting for Me
Tonight I'm packing my new suitcase for my trip to Las Vegas. I'll leave work and get on a plane around 4:30 tomorrow. I'll return Saturday evening.
I'm missing a week of school, in which each of my classes is having its first test. This means I've got my work cut out for me before, during, and after the trip. I've been a little stressed lately.
I think I'm doing okay. Really too busy to feel any emotions these days. I hope Vegas lends me some peace, at least for one night. I hope its lights hypnotize me & trick me into thinking I've found some kind of perspective. If not, the big wad of cash I was given to play with while I'm there will have to do.

Weekend recap: (Sinus Fuck)
Friday night. After a post-work nap, went w/Sara to WM, then her, Chris B & Chris J came over to watch Jabberwocky. Much disappointment. I've been waiting to see this movie for years, the only Terry Gilliam movie that's eluded me. I don't want to talk about it.
Saturday. Slept. Awoke to revolt of the sinuses. Took meds. Got drowsy. Slept more. Finally got around to running a few erands. Mike R. & I went to SLT to see "The Foreigner" (it was okay, old people humor). We ate at Nanking (note - go there more often, have Hot&Sour soup as often as possible). Afterwards, played poker, won $93!
Sunday. Breakfast at George's with Trey. Splurged on myself a little with some new shoes and fancy makeup. Stressed.
