A peculiar thing has happened since Trey’s exodus. I’ve got a new and insatiable urge to learn and experience EVERYTHING. I feel like a sponge. All of a sudden, there’s all these books I want to read, movies I want to watch, foods I want to try, places I want to go, and music I want to discover. An audiobook is perpetually playing in my cd player. It’s my new addiction. I love how efficient they are. Last night I watched "39 Steps", a late 30's Hitchcock movie I didn't even know I owned. Who knows? I might even get into reading my textbooks this semester.
What on earth could account for all this?
For the first time in years, I also want to meet new people. It’s only recently occurred to me that this is an activity I’ve largely avoided.
