at the library agaiinn
slow day today, went to church. 'nuff said.
funny thing, last night i was out in itaewon meeting up with friends and there was like this group of church members with microphones, guitars, and a keyboard, singing contemporary gospel songs and passing out flyers. all the while, i was just thinking, "oh god just shoot me in the fucking head." this tiny woman proceeds to hand me a flyer and i tell her politely, "no thanks" and then she points to the sky and says something in korean like how god is the father blah blah blah and she asks me if i believed in jesus and i just kind of shook my head and she gives me this DEATH STARE and demands why i didnt so just to get her off my back, i told her i was buddhist. maybe i should have said i was jewish.
i was supposed to go to yoga tonight, my friend Sihyun is a yoga instructor in the next buidling
and she invited me for a free class tonight but she had to cancel. so next weekend, yesssss.
i've been wanting to take yoga for a while now but i dont ever seem to have $$$$
thank god i start that teaching job tomorrow
Four kids.. oi oi oi.
they're not so bad, i met the whole family friday and the kids are really sweet.
Andy is 6 years old and starting first grade
Ricky's 10 and starting 4th grade
Maggie (i love that name) is 12 and is starting 6th grade
and Katie is 14, and starting the beginning of her last four years of required schooling.
highschool was so overrated.
Andy and Maggie are the hyper ones
Ricky and Katie are the chill ones.
i'll probably be working with the older kids first, then switching to the younger ones
looking forward to it.. kinda.
just hoping that i dont turn out to be a huge disaster and spoil their chances at getting a fullfilled proper education.

holiday this tuesday!! might be going to the beach?
