why is my insurance policy sitting on my fucking sofa?
Just got back from the mall, where Bailey and I saw The Island. Finally! It sure wasn't what I was expecting, but hey, who cares? All the hot men aside, it was an amazing movie. There was a bit of everything, drama, action, romance, sci-fi, and things to actually think about should you choose to. I could've done with fewer explosions, but I can't have everything.
I almost combusted when Sean came on screen the first time. He might've been an evil evil bastard, but he was an amazingly sexy HOT evil evil bastard. And he was wearing glasses. And Ewan... Ewan without the accent, Ewan with the accent poking out once in a while, Ewan with the accent, Ewan being all sexy and fighting, Ewan with glasses, Ewan fighting himself... guh. And the leader of the men Merrick sends out, whose name was Starkweather (aka Djimon Hounsou), Bailey, was gorgeous as well. And we can't forget Scarlett Johansson, who was amazing in it as well.
Oh, and someone has to write Sean/Ewan NOW. Because at the end, with the man-handling, I almost died. I might've actually whimpered. Accents do me in.
