This story was written at my request as part of Fandom Trumps Hate. Hollyandvise had both 9-1-1 and Harry Potter listed as the fandoms they would write in and I asked about mashing them together because I adore the idea of Christopher Diaz having magic.
Hollyandvice took that challenge and ran with it and this is a winner! It's an 'Eighth Year' Harry Potter story, with Draco, Harry and the gang back at Hogwarts after the war. At the same time, Christopher is a first year, struggling to learn magic while dealing with his CP. What it ends up being is a heart-warming story about acceptance, learning to give and accept help, and growing up.
