Occasionally I do things

Hey! What do you do with your Monday night? Is it a time to take stock and plan for the upcoming hardships life will inevitably put in front of you this week or should you spend your time being out till all hours? I would argue the later every time (hey I would probably encourage your kids to take drugs for fun to - no not your kids but other kids)

So it was another simple night in jolly old England when I took Little Bear and Panda Bear to London to see a rather delightful band called Killswitch Engage last night. We went along the great metal snake - after I left the tickets at home and had to run to get them and arrived in one of the finest suburbs of London known as Brixton (BRIX-toN)

We caught the second support band the Haunted from the nosebleed seats which were not bad but not great. Then it was down to the pit for the main event surprisingly we managed to stick together for must of the gig with two separate philosophies. Little Bear decided - Ledge is big, I’m safe near him, people will thrash around but I wont get hit because he’s to big. Panda Bead decided - Ledge is big, its dangerous near him, he will thrash around and I’ll get hit because he is so dam big. I leave you to judge on that one.

Anyway great gig - they awarded the band the Silver Disks for the album - the end of hearache - one of my favourite albums on stage which was cool, had a great time and ended up catching the drummers stick at the end - score!

However one thing is evident - age is now upon me and I can no longer bounce back after a night like that - must have lifted up about 12 people for crowd surfing and got hit well a lot I am now a bruised, battered and broken man. 25 approaches
