For training up versatile players in the U-17 Camp, there are several expert coaches. We'll introduce two of them now.
In reality, he's a sharp person?
Saitou Itaru (U-17 Mental Coach)
He's in charge not of the players' mental care, but of strengthening their mental state.
Is he a kind mental coach who gives off a clumsy feeling? By making the middle school partners play an elimination match, he actually trains the mental level of the players. In that sense, he is the strictest coach.
Outwardly, he's the gentlest coach, but...
...Well, let the singles matches begin. The losers will be eliminated.
Whilst revealing those who have fallen behind in ability, he searches for the players who don't have the tenacity to win. That is the true purpose of the pair matches.
My true job starts now.
To train their mental state, Saitou leads them into a bottomless valley.
