That was two parts hawt, three parts massively fucked up. I love it! LOL. Your depiction of mord'sith love is the unromanticized ideal. And I say love because I do think that facet was evident. Both Dahlia and Cara are clearly affected. The addition of broken!enslaved!Kahlan just took everything to a different level. Foremost, K/C/D is the hottest threesome ever. Secondly, the web that you spun between them was so complex and engrossing. The power play extends past the breaking and the sex hitting somewhere so much deeper. I loved Cara's conflict over Kahlan. Again, there's this evident underlying love for Kahlan that Cara tries not to acknowledge. OTOH, there's this complete and utter contempt stemming from her rebroken mord'sith self. Cara's insistence that Kahlan isn't the "real" Kahlan is also indicative of said contempt. I think that statement extends beyond Kahlan's reprogramming. Cara thinks highly of Kahlan's skill, so to see that Kahlan allowed herself to be captured and broken befuddles and disappoints. It's a weakness that she most likely would never associate with Kahlan, and mord'sith HATE weakness.

In conclusion, twas awesome. I'm shutting up now.

K/C/D is definitely the hottest threesome ever :D

I'm so glad you picked up on the disgust she felt for Kahlan in that moment. The problem is deciding whether it is because of Kahlan's weakness or because Kahlan was bound to Dahlia.

That and Cara's love... that's basically the emptiness she is trying to feel. The lost connection she had to her first real family since childhood. And everything else is a poor substitute. I figure that evil super Agiel had a variety of consequences they could have explored if the writers werent so short sighted lol

Mord-Sith love... is icky, as one reviewer said to me lmao

I just wanted to concur with the above comment.

and lines like this:
"She hated Kahlan with her body. Her conscious mind raged because Kahlan had been her humiliation.

But deep down another voice screamed in outrage. This Kahlan was an imposter. This Kahlan was false. Kahlan was dead. This thing had to die."

show how complex Cara's feelings are at the moment.
Basically, this is deep stuff. :)
