I can't believe the last time I posted was after Christmas, it just goes to show how busy I am with everything.
Rick moved into a new house, which I had a blast helping him paint (the entire house except for 1 room) and picking out new stuff for the whole house... Who knew I would have so much fun spending $2000 of someone elses money at IKEA! He even got me one of these chairs! WOOOOO!!! I love it. I even put together most of the furniture with him, although not an adventure that I'd want to do again anytime soon....... We repainted the living room and dining room light stone green with a dark green/chocolate color accent wall (it turned out really nice). We redid Ethan's room in blue camo and it turned out wonderful, as well as the fact that I got to choose the color for Rick's bedroom - I chose a steel grey color, a color I've always wanted to paint a bedroom and the bathroom got the same color, just a lighter shade.
I am still working at the museum and bookstore, although I'm slowly getting burned out at this pace. I changed jobs at the bookstore and am now a bookfloor lead instead of a headcashier. It's a lot easier on my sanity and my legs.
I am getting a break next month though, I am going to Belize with my friend Sue. We are not taking the boys along and I'm thankful for that since it's been so long since I've taken a trip with a friend instead of a boyfriend. Yay for tropical beach weather!!!
Elissa started outdoor soccer again and she made varsity goalie as a sophomore! I am still not super interested in soccer, but am learning to like it the more games that I attend (and freeze my butt off!). Ethan starts soccer again this weekend as well as the karate he's been doing, so we're never home and always at one event or another. With Elissa, if it's not soccer, it's dance or orchestra and with Ethan, if it's not soccer, it's karate or his school play. Charlie is the only one who isn't running us all over the green earth, but it's only a matter of time I'm sure...
My brother is graduating in May from Ferris State University and the police academy there. I am happy for him, but hope that he finds a job considering the economy.
Other than that, not much else new is going on. I'm sure it will be another 3 1/2 months before I update again, sorry!
