Fun in Mexico...
Wow...
I never did post anything about my trip to Mexico... We stayed south of Cancun, the Mexican Rivera, and it was gorgeous...
First of all. the 10 of us had a freakin' blast together... I would go on vacation with everyone except one person who became an angry drunk after 3 drinks.
The resort was all inclusive, so we ate and drank for free. I only gained 2 pounds on vacation, so that made me happy.
We usually spend everyday in the pool, or by it, and drank to our hearts content... which was a lot...
One of the days, four of us went to Telum, a Mayan ruin south of where we stayed and Rick and I really enjoyed it along with Eric and Tonya.
We went to Playa del Carmen two of the nights and had a fun time shopping there. One of the nights, we ate at a Mexican restaurant and I bravely tried octopus which Rick accidently tried some habenero peppers... I didn't get too much while I was there, 2 rings and Rick bought me a bag, he bought a bunch of stuff for himself and goodies for the kids.
I think that the flight home was the worse part. We went from 80 degree weather to 30 degree weather and we almost missed our plane in Ft. Lauderdale because Spirit airlines sucks...
We made it home without any serious injuries and just a serious dent to our bank accounts.
I would go back if I had the chance... I had a great time!
