On Fish and Fluff
The reason why I find the fish and romance analogies bitterly ironic:
"There's plenty of other fish in the sea."
"But you're not one of them."

I started what I hoped would be a pointless fluff IchiRuki doujin. I even gave Rukia cat ears just so it can be that much pointless.
Then I developed a whole backstory of how Urahara wanted to Rukia to taste test some candy since she was a little short of her bill.
I know there's probably a bazillion people who can make an NC-17 plotline from this premise, but I CAN'T.
By the time I drew Ichigo having a fascination for poking Rukia's ears to make them twitch while she monologues to herself, it looked like a good idea to stop. Not that I had any direction for the story AT ALL, so while I got pointless, I never managed to get to fluff =_=;;
THIS IS WHY I DON'T WRITE FANFICTION ANYMORE.
(BTW, the second line of dialog is mine ^^;)
