Unmoderated Member = No Waiting

Hello fanart50 members! I hope all of your projects are coming along well. First, I'd like to thank everyone who's been posting art -- there are fandoms I didn't even know I'd like until I saw some of yours for the first time. I love the variety we have, though I still cheer when we get more Harry Potter artists! *biased*

Second, we don't require anyone to do their own tagging, but if you do, it saves us a few clicks.

Finally, I wanted to make a quick announcement about a new feature here: Unmoderated Members.

For the members who have consistently been posting correctly, we have upgraded their membership so their posts skip the mod queue and get displayed immediately. Anyone who would like to have this privelege must follow all of the posting guidelines, most obviously:

1. Use your claim somewhere in the subject line.
2. Proper heading and cut/link to the art.
3. Tags for the claim and prompts.

If we noticed that you have the hang of it after a few posts, we told you that we upgraded you. If you would like to become an unmoderated member, please mention it in the notes of your next art post and we'll consider whether you've been mistake-free for a while.

If you get upgraded, you need to remember to proof your entries right after you post to make sure all the rules are followed (and I know it's easier to add the tags after you submit the post, since you can control-click from the Edit Tag menu.) But if you make a habit of not editing or correcting your mistakes quickly, we will return you to regular membership. If you ever post anything other than your art entries (like community ads, questions, suggestions, etc.) -- your membership in this project will be deleted.

Hopefully this will speed up the whole process and take some pressure off the mods (*which we do accept offers to help if anyone's interested.) If you have any suggestions for this community, or tips to share with the artists, feel free to comment them here.
